Additionally, I wasn't fond of the author's handling of Fan Wei and extra chapters, where Ye Youqing returns to the present and essentially replaces another Ye Youqing from the story, along with Ci Ke's actions. The continuity of their relationships and personal lives seemed to be disregarded, despite eventual resolutions.
On the character front, Ye Youqing impresses with her intelligence and strategic thinking. She's poised and caring, even stepping in when it's not her direct concern. Zhu Ziqiu and Shi Li, the second couple, deserve happiness and are a shining example of loyalty. Many readers will likely resonate with Shi Li, a secondary character who见证s the entire journey. She's always there to support Ye Youqing and plays a crucial role. The Sixth Prince, Song Yi, is also noteworthy, often serving as a standout character alongside Shi Li.
